Kirch-Ford House

Early 18th-century vernacular dwelling, one of the oldest homes in the township. Capt. William Ford owned the house during the American Revolution. Thomas Terrell, a banker, judge, and magistrate, who also served as the Warren Township's first clerk, in 1806, lived in the house.

The house features a beehive oven which has been restored to working condition. Noted restoration architect Charles Detwiller called it "a classic", saying it alone was reason enough to preserve the historic building. The home has been furnished with period antiques, all donated by township residents. The house has a secret room which may have been a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War.
