The South Branch School, was
built in 1870 in the rural Italianate style for the purpose of educating
children in grades one through eight from the surrounding areas of
Branchburg and Hillsborough townships. This school house is noteworthy for
being the last one-room school house in use in Somerset County (1965.) |
